At Soft Landing Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc., every life matters.

Since 2017, we have been dedicated to rescuing animals who have nowhere else to go. In January 2023, we proudly became an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, allowing us to expand our mission and save even more lives.

Our sanctuary provides a safe and loving refuge for feral cats, cats with behavioral challenges, and those who are sick or injured. Through compassionate care, medical treatment, rehabilitation, and patient socialization, we give these animals a second chance at a healthier and happier life.

While cats are at the heart of our mission, our compassion extends beyond them. We also rescue and care for tortoises, reptiles, miniature horses, miniature donkeys, and outdoor feathered friends who need protection and sanctuary.

Some of our rescue efforts have even reached beyond borders, helping animals in need from places as far away as Egypt and Kosovo.

But we cannot do this work alone.

Every animal we rescue requires food, shelter, medical attention, and daily care. Your generosity makes it possible for us to continue helping the animals already in our care—and those still waiting for their chance to be rescued.

A Second Chance Story

Many of the animals who arrive at our sanctuary come from heartbreaking situations. Some are feral and have never known kindness. Others are injured, abandoned, or suffering from illness.

With patience, medical care, and compassion, we help them heal. Over time, frightened animals begin to trust again. Injured animals recover. Some even find loving forever homes.

And for those who cannot be adopted, our sanctuary becomes their permanent safe haven.
